Most people just call him Jaro. Even though he obtained a degree in Information Technology, already in college he discovered that he got the best kick out of creating new businesses. Thus, he decided to start his first company, i.e., Future Processing, which he managed for almost 20 years. Starting with a few engineers, the company has grown to nearly 900 people and is currently developing advanced IT projects for clients from all over the world.

Our founder is a true visionary who does not shy away from difficult challenges, while remaining grounded. The Puls Biznesu magazine included him in its “500 Managers” rank aimed at promoting top Polish entrepreneurs. He has also spoken at numerous conferences and industry events. With a bit of luck, you can meet him putting his blood, sweat, and tears at triathlon races or speeding through a highway in his red Tesla.

Enthusiast of new technologies and business building. A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology and Coventry University. For more than 15 years, he has been involved with modern technologies in the IT industry. The engineer's background allows him to perfectly understand the challenges of autonomous vehicle technology. Previously, he was responsible for project management and business development with Future Processing’s key clients, including those on the Fortune 100 list.

In Autonomous Systems he is responsible for the development of relations with key partners and clients and for planning and implementing the company's strategic objectives. He has had a passion for motorisation from an early age. If he is not actively spending time with his family he is probably in the garage or at the motorcycle track.

He has spent more than 15 years working in technology - mainly in the areas of product development and software quality. He has worked in interdisciplinary teams developing complex systems combining software and hardware components. In projects, he focuses on ensuring that solutions are not only functional, but also secure, stable and well tested.

In our team, Tomek is responsible for product development - from conception, planning and integration to ensuring the quality of the final solution. He enjoys working where technology meets systems thinking and the strength of a well-cooperating team.

He considers long-distance running and mountain hiking as natural extensions of working on resilient and secure systems.

She has more than 10 years of experience in EU project management and for the past 3 years she has additionally been exploring finance, making her a project specialist and financial ninja in one. She has everything under control - from cash flow to billing. With precision she analyzes results, controls budgets and catches every discrepancy in the numbers.

During projects, she watches over every detail, and when new challenges arise along the way she approaches them with an open mind, because for her they are just another task to be solved. She is eager to learn and explore new areas, because life without development is boring! 🙂

She is a graduate of the University of Physical Education, but has been working in administration for a good few years. She values her work and contact with people, keeping her 'paperwork' in order and finds satisfaction in completing her assigned tasks. In our team Anita is responsible for general office duties - circulation of company documentation, orders, supervision of invoices and support for HR processes.

Privately, she is passionate about sports – from running to martial arts. In her free time, she enjoys reading a wide variety of books and occasionally engages in creative activities that allow her to unwind and recharge from the pace of everyday life.

An accountant by education, but not practicing 😉.
For 15 years, she has been involved in IT, project management, and team leadership. After 10 years in the e-commerce industry, her hunger for knowledge and new challenges pushed her to change her specialization. The autonomous vehicle project is, on the one hand, all-new in terms of technology, and on the other, it includes well-known development and team aspects - which, combined, give her daily joy at work and fresh challenges.

In our team, Mirka is responsible for coordinating the development team’s work, making sure the team’s potential is used in the best possible way, and removing unnecessary obstacles from their path.

In her free time, she relaxes by creating various kinds of handicrafts - from jewelry, through seasonal decorations, to macramé. Between creative projects and professional work, she spends most of her time playing with her children, and their favorite shared activities are doing jigsaw puzzles and playing board and card games together.

A programmer with 20 years of experience. He wrote his first program in BASIC on an 8-bit Atari computer back in the previous millennium. Since then, he has worked on systems of various sizes in numerous domains. To this day, he finds great joy in making a machine perform a given task, whether it is optimizing a disk, processing financial transactions, reconstructing blood vessels or driving an autonomous vehicle.

As a member of our team, he is responsible for implementing the autonomous driving system in a minibus, which requires him to deal with a wide range of topics, from vehicle mechanics, through integrating various sensors, preparing the software platform and system architecture, all the way to artificial intelligence and machine learning. Apart from programming, he is interested in all things engineering and he is a whiskey connoisseur in his private life.

He has been a curious scientist and explorer of things big and small ever since his childhood. In 2014, he received a doctoral degree in technical sciences. He is an academic lecturer at the Opole University of Technology’s Institute of Information Technology and he wrote numerous scientific publications, mostly concerning image processing. His main tools are cameras, lidars, and other radars.

As a member of our team, he is currently working a lot with measurement equipment. When he sees a bus or other vehicles, he immediately covers them with sensors in his mind. In his private life he is a cryptocurrency market enthusiast who has seen all possible crypto exchanges and witnessed impossible events. From time to time, he is also passionate about sports, willing to ride many kilometers on his bike and run any distance in a company T-shirt.

An algorithm specialist and software engineer with 10+ years of experience who is interested in artificial intelligence and computer vision. He is well experienced in commercial software engineering, which enables a unique approach to developing solutions involving machine learning. He specializes in areas such as design, implementation, and validation of complex systems.

His guiding principle is that you can learn and discover everything so his vocabulary does not include the words “it cannot be done”. When necessary, he is ready to get his hands dirty, taking our test vehicles apart to the last screw. In his free time, he enjoys learning how things work, especially different mechanisms. He is a Formula 1 enthusiast, not only in terms of racing, but also its technical aspects.

He graduated in IT at the Silesian University of Technology so long ago that he used to store his programs on 3.5-inch floppy disks and the Internet bandwidth was measured in kilobauds at the time. Since then, he has been finding the biggest joy in working with hardware so he has learned the ins and outs of programming microcontrollers. He is not afraid of ARM, Intel, C, assembler or even VHDL and he will do anything to tame registers, toolchains, and devicetrees. Debuggers and JTAGs help him with that.

When he is finally away from the keyboard and back home, he spends his free time playing with his kids as well as enjoying science fiction literature, board games, and kizomba. Lately, he has been exploring his new talent as a robotics and coding teacher at a kindergarten. The kids love playing with blocks, minirobots, and coding on the floor. However, this new role brings the most joy to himself. There are things you do not grow out of, as can also be seen in the photo.

An automation engineer by education. As a child, he thought that electronics (especially digital) was what tigers like best, but in the mid-1980s he discovered that there might be something better - computers and programming. He has already professionally dealt with vehicles running on rails and on tracks as well as unmanned aerial vehicles. Coming down to earth and moving in the urban tissue 🚌 is a new challenge for him and fascinating problems to solve.

He works in our team as a programmer who doesn't have his own box yet, which suits him very well because it gives him the opportunity to learn about various issues related to autonomous vehicles. He likes to spend his free time looking at huge amounts of good photos. Preferably at a rate of twenty-four per second.

Programmer, graduate of the Silesian University of Technology. In the team, he mainly deals with Continuous Integration issues, writing drivers and nodes in the Robot Operating System. Former board member of Hackerspace Silesia, organizer of Coding Dojo Silesia and co-organizer of Hacksilesia #2 and #3.

Additionally, he is a Python fanatic and a hobbyist of Arduino, FPGA and the C language.

Ten years ago he decided to deal with quality in projects. Since then, he has been constantly ensuring the applications development work. He persistently builds processes, never losing sight of small improvements. He sticks to the principle that it is better to automate than to do things manually. He has worked in several industries throughout his life, however he particularly appreciates the automotive sector for the aspect of creating products for ordinary people and improving their everyday lives.

In his spare time, he likes hiking in the mountains. He studies maps with constant curiosity and plans new routes. He likes creative activities, especially watercolor painting where he can be focused and find peace. He is still looking fot the answers why people do what they do in the works of Carl Jung.

Jakub is a graduate of mechatronics at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. During his studies, he worked in a company dealing with laser technologies, where he created devices for measuring the transmittance of plastics. He was a member of the "Robocik" scientific group, which created an autonomous submarine. As part of his master's thesis, he created a prototype of an autonomous robot for laser weed control. It helped him delve deeper into autonomous control, vision systems and neural network convolution. Currently, he is getting to know our project and he started to implement the AS team.

Beyond the programming aspects, he likes playing chess ♘ and basketball and recently he has been into cooking. He bakes delicious cookies that disappear quickly in the office.

A graduate of Mechatronics and Automation and Robotics at the Faculty of Mechanical Technology of the Silesian University of Technology and from 2022 a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He tells about himself: combination of a scientist and a practitioner who liked to get his hands dirty, which ultimately encouraged him to seek scientific challenges away from the walls of the university. He has completed several projects in which he was responsible for, among others: autonomous planning of the measurement drone’s path and the remote control system of the microbus.

He considers himself a perfectionist, a man of action and a typical mechatronics engineer, consistently avoiding long conversations and narrow specializations. He has been working in #TeamAS for several months, where he deals with everything that the situation requires, according to the principle "if I don't know how, I will learn". In private life, he is an active enthusiast of all martial arts, a DIY enthusiast and a fan of traveling away from civilization, during which he reads Hawking and unsuccessfully tries to understand how the Universe works.

He is an electrical engineer by profession, with more than 16 years of experience in designing electronics for various industries - from consumer and medical electronics to industrial, automotive and wind turbines. He also specializes in topics such as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and functional safety.

In our team, Witek is responsible for electrical design and also for system engineering.

He spends his spare time on sports, photography and active time with his children.

A graduate of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology. During his studies, he was active in the High Flyers science club, where he developed software for multi-rotor drones and discovered his passion for electronics. Even then, he knew that working with sensors was his calling. 

Currently, he is working as a programmer in the AS team, putting himself into our project.

In his free time, he enjoys meeting with friends to play a good board game together. However, there are times when he needs a moment to himself - then he immerses himself in the world of 3D printing or perfects his skills in piloting FPV drones.

He has been involved in the IT industry for 12 years. He decided to pursue a career as a QA because he enjoys finding bugs in applications and generally improving quality in projects. He specializes in backend, but has also dealt with frontend, accessibility, usability and other “-abilities”. Most of the projects he had worked on so far have involved fintech. Some years later, he wanted a change of context and that's how he ended up in the automotive industry.

Privately, he enjoys creative activities, such as sewing and sometimes bookbinding. He is a florist and attempts to create ceramics. He is a big fan of retro gaming, role-playing games and demoscene. Every six months he’s into something new.

A programmer with 12 years of professional experience and a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology. He takes on any programming-related task with great enthusiasm, from mundane embedded systems and FPGA, through desktop apps, back-end and front-end, to cloud solutions.

Jacek is responsible for developing the sensory data acquisition system, integrating the GNSS technology with the autonomous driving platform, and for tasks involving embedded system programming. In his free time, he is an avid musician who plays the guitar for a band called Hipokamp as well as a beer and jazz connoisseur.

He is an experienced professional with a passion for electronics and programming. He has been involved in the industry since 2013. He is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology who has spent his career designing electronic circuits, creating desktop applications and developing firmware for the ARM architecture.

He approaches the assigned tasks with enthusiasm and great diligence. He is not afraid of new challenges - he treats them as an opportunity to grow and learn.

In the AS team he focuses primarily on integrating autonomy systems with platforms equipped with Drive-by-wire, but is happy to take on other tasks as well, depending on current needs.

After hours, he participates in projects that require an engineering mindset, while during the winter he indulges in snowboarding.
